Who is Cherie King?Well ...I AM! Allow me to introduce myself... Once again, I'm Cherie King, and I am wife of 18 years to my loving and highly supportive (computer techy/geek...lol) husband and Pastor, District Elder William King, Jr.; mother of 4 beautiful (both inwardly and outwardly :-D) children ages ranging from 5-17 and I am a stay-at-home mom and homeschooler! I've been involved in many business ventures from Amway to Melaleuca to Awareness Corporation to (almost) Primerica and more! I've never had much success with any of them except for one and then they had a major shift in focus so I left for ethical reasons. I have been working from home since 1995. My first work-from-home job was running and operating a mini-salon from my home, which I did for about 3 1/2 years. After becoming burned out by "standing-behind-the-chair", I began searching for other ways to make money from home. That is when I discovered Internet Marketing and that was in November 1999 - I actually thought it was in 2000-01, but when looking back on my archives, I started in 1999! It's funny how things really do come full circle because back then, back when I was heavy into Internet Marketing, my website was none other than...The Work at Home Advocate! LOL! Seriously! I was blessed and very fortunate to be able to recover my old domain name after all those years after having let it go. So anyway, when I first started out, I was into marketing affiliate programs. Then later, I went on to create my own products (I wrote several natural hair-related ebooks) and started selling those and have been ever since. So, yes, I do make money online but I won't say I've made enough to make an actual living from it...but perhaps more than most who have tried various business, programs, etc. After years of selling my ebooks, I came to realize that one of the main reasons I was NOT making a 'killing' (and why so many others seemingly have poor results with making money on or offline) is due to a lack of *effective* marketing and promoting. I relied solely on search engine traffic and links from other sites - which aren't bad at all, but I could have been doing a lot more! Not only that, but when it comes to various programs and businesses whether it's MLM or what have you, there is also a lot of misinformation about how to effectively grow one's business. We're told to exhaust our "warm market", basically meaning, "Bug the HECK outta your friends and family!" or purchase expensive lists of leads which many simply cannot afford to do, especially when first starting out. But what we actually need to do is to first realize that we are not selling products or business opportunities, but rather we are marketing OURSELVES! People want to know they are doing business with people they can trust and people who will actually BE there for them and help them when they need it ...coach and mentor them. I mean, isn't that what you want? Isn't that what you DESERVE? Well, that's what I'm here for! I truly enjoy what I do and to me, that's what matters. When I first started I knew NOTHING about Internet Marketing. But again, I read, learned, put things into practice and I've grown a lot over the years from where I first started from! It's actually fun learning new things and applying what I learn. The best part of all is ...I'm actually making money in the process of helping others! I hope you understand that I DO NOT give advice on how to get rich quick (there are MORE than enough of those types on the 'net if that's your cup 'o tea) but if you are ready to buckle down and get serious; if you're willing to learn, work hard yet have fun learning to make a comfortable income online and become an effective Internet Marketer AND...if you are willing to pass what you learn down to others and help them... then I'm here for you!
