Now, I don't know what your skill level is in terms of Internet marketing, using the Internet, using computers, etc. and that is precisely why I am taking a different approach than what most "Work at Home" websites do.

See, a lot of people will tell you how to make money from home by sharing business opportunities, programs, etc. But what I have realized is, a LOT of people who get online do not know simple basics such as what a "squeeze" or lead capture page is or how to put one together; what an autoresponder is; or how to do too much of anything besides opening and replying to emails.

So while I will mention things like business opportunities and online money-making programs, for the most part, this website will be about helping you to learn things that you will need to know if you are to be successful in making money from home.

But there is one thing I need to make very, very clear about this website and the resources and information provided and that is...

This is NOT about "get rich quick"!

This is about providing ways to help you generate a nice income source and teach you what you need to know in order to do so. I refuse to make you promises and guarantees of instant success, that you'll be quitting your job in a week, that you're gonna make thousands in the next month or that you will succeed, period.

Why not? Because...

NO ONE can (or even should) promise you that!

I know that many people make those claims but let's be real...if it were really that simple, wouldn't EVERYONE be doing it? Just because something is online/Internet-based doesn't mean it's supposed to be magical and instantaneous! Your computer simply cannot and will not "crank" or "spit" money out at you!

Online (as well as offline) businesses and other money-making activities are all about the effort and the time and the investment that YOU put into them that will determine YOUR outcome! This includes educating yourself included as well as applying what you learn as you learn it!

So, no, I cannot promise you anything in terms of how successful you will be. I can only point you in the right direction, be here to give you guidance if/when you need it and that's basically it. The rest is completely up to Y-O-U!

Defining Your Work At Home Goals

I really feel this is an important step...defining your work from home goals. Basically...WHY ARE YOU HERE?

First, you need to ask yourself:

What is my present situation?

Is my present situation more casual or is it more desperate?

Do I REALLY want a home-based job working for someone else or am I just scared to work for myself?

Do I REALLY want a home-based business and am I ready for all that it entails?

Do I want to learn how to be an EFFECTIVE Internet Marketer?

Am I just trying to make a quick buck or do I want to start building towards my future even if it takes 6 months to a year (or more) of committment?

Do I have the discipline to work from home?

These are very real questions that you should really sit and ponder on because many people find that working at home is not always an easy thing - there are challenges and frustrations that come along with the many rewards....sometimes it can be bitter-sweet. It's not for everyone...I'll be honest and say.

I know you've probably seen websites and/or ads that make it look "oh, so effortless" - just set up a site, kick up your feet and watch the money just roll right in....but they're lying to you. It doesn't *SNAP* just happen. There are work and learning involved...for some a HUGE learning curve. But that doesn't mean it's impossible or undoable. People are doing it everyday but just be aware that no matter what program, business, job, company, guru...whatever...you decide to attach yourself to - the ball still lies in YOUR court as to how successful (or non-successful) you will be.

So again, really sit back and think about why you're really here and if you're truly ready. I'm not trying to scare you off - goodness no - but I'm being very real and upfront with you so you don't end up with these super-high expectations of what can and will happen with little-to-no effort.

Once you've considered what I said previously, then you need to ask yourself what exactly is it you wish to gain from this site to help you reach your work from home goals and the answers that you come up with will determine what area(s) of this site you need to be in and what will be most beneficial to you!
