Reason 2 of 7 Reasons Its A Good Idea For Network Marketers To Focus On Getting Customers

The Second Reason It’s Good That Network Marketers Focus On Getting Customers

It protects YOUR integrity

In a previous post, I mentioned that the first reason Network Marketers may want to focus on getting customers was to protect the integrity of the company that you’re involved in.

Another reason is to protect YOUR integrity!

What do I mean by that?

Well, think about it. [Read more…] about The Second Reason It’s A Good Idea That Network Marketers Focus On Getting Customers

Reason One Why It’s A Good Idea That Network Marketers Focus On Getting Customers

It protects the integrity of your company

There’s a cliche saying that, “S**t happens”.

And it’s true… it does.
But tell me this…
How much of that ‘s**t’ is actually PREVENTABLE?
Honestly, a whole LOT of it!
Wouldn’t you agree?
One such case is when network marketing companies get into hot water and get shut down.
And this leads me to the first of seven reasons why it’s a good idea to focus on getting customers.
If more reps understood this, then these shutdowns would happen less and less as opposed to more and more.

When I think of reason #1, one word comes immediately to mind… [Read more…] about Reason One Why It’s A Good Idea For Network Marketers Focus On Getting Customers

7 Reasons Its A Good Idea For Network Marketers To Focus On Getting Customers

There has been, still is, and will probably forever be an ongoing argument…

“Should Network Marketers Focus More on Getting Customers or Team Members?”

And each side of the debate definitely makes their points.

All the years I’ve been involved in this industry (or as some prefer, profession) I’ve noticed that for the most part, people are recruited and told to recruit once they’ve become part of the recruited.

It wasn’t until the last 3-4 years or so that I’ve noticed more actual retail SALES happening… even in my own business.

I used to feel as though it was more (MOST, even) important that I build a team than to build a strong customer base.

Nowadays, my focus has shifted, as has many others.

So, today, I’m not here to debate which is better, which one you “should” be doing the most of.  I’m just going to lay out what I feel are… [Read more…] about 7 Reasons It’s A Good Idea For Network Marketers To Focus On Getting Customers

How to Attract More Hair Clients Online

by

Inside: Discover a few helpful tips on how you can attract more clients to your hair business, online.

I debated and debated with myself on whether or not I wanted to write this article and here’s why.

Many moons ago, I was a hair stylist myself and now, I’m an InterNetwork Marketer… a VERY different profession & industry.

And typically fellow Network Marketers are who I cater my messages to, but I just still have a soft spot in my heart for my fellow hair stylists. (insert warm & fuzzy, “Awww“)

When I think back to my days as a stylist, I wish I knew & had the ability to do then what I know & have the ability to do NOW, therefore; I want to pass this knowledge on to YOU!

The Struggles I Faced As A 90’s Hair Stylist

This was the sign my husband made for me to advertise my home-based salon. I actually got a few people stop by from it!

My days behind the chair were during the mid to late 90’s and internet marketing did not exist.

The only forms of marketing I had access to, aside from the sign my husband made and mounted outside our home, were word-of-mouth and advertising in the yellow pages or hair magazines –  neither of which were in my budget during that time.

Another challenge was that my salon was in-home (and no, I wasn’t a “kitchentician” LOL – my business and myself were licensed & legit) and wasn’t in a high-traffic area due to being residential.

Because of the limitations when it came to getting the word out, I didn’t make a whole hell of a lot of money.

Now, I don’t know YOUR specific challenges, but whatever they are, they led you to searching for ways to attract more clients.

The Difference Between Then And Now

As I mentioned before, since being out of the hair care profession, I’ve done other forms of business from marketing other peoples products, to creating and marketing my own hair-related ebooks, to Network Marketing and now, helping other business owners get (online) exposure to their businesses.

I know how to get people finding me online (think about it… that’s how YOU found me) and as a result, I’m able to get new customers into my business all the time and I can help you too!

How Can You Attract More Hair Clients?

(Prefer to watch/listen to the video? Click “Play” on the video below.  FYI: Video is NOT as detailed as the article!)

I’m going to share with you what I’d do today, if I were doing hair and needed to attract clients:

1. Utilize video.

I’m sure you’re no stranger to the plethora of YouTube videos showing how to do “xyz” to your hair. And as a professional, I’m sure you cringe at some of them, don’t you?

But here’s the thing…

You could and should be doing videos as well.

Simply share tips & tidbits on hair care from a PROFESSIONAL, LICENSED Hair Care Provider’s point of view.

And while, yes, the goal is to get clients into your chair; it’s important to first build rapport when marketing online to people who don’t know you from a can of paint.

The best way to do that?

Provide value. Basically, you’ll want to share hair care tips, product tips, do’s & don’ts, etc with your target audience, which leads me to…

2. Define your target audience.

Yeah, yeah I know… you do it all and you service them all.  But I’m telling you, narrowing down your online marketing to a specific “customer avatar” is going to give you an edge.

You’ll want to sit down and clearly define who you PREFER to service – don’t say any and everyone ’cause, as one of my old hair mentors used to say, “All money ain’t good money“!

So decide, do you want clients of a certain age bracket?  Do you prefer working with natural hair over chemically processed?  Is color correction your area of expertise? Are you a top-notch at protective styles?

Choose your focus and based on that, choose who your ideal client is, then…

3. Showcase your work to get those local to you into your chair.

Share before & afters of your clients (with their permission, of course) and target those in your local area in some of your content.

You can also share these images on your Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram account and generate interest that way.

BONUS TIP: Find a way to monetize your non-local audience.

What I mean by “monetize” your non-local audience is – the internet opens up a world of people you would NOT be able to have access to if you only did local, offline advertising.

As soon as you hit “publish” on that video or blog post or send out that Facebook status message, you now have eyes viewing your material that are beyond your hometown.

What can you do with that leverage?

Unless you just have and showcase the MADDEST of skills that they can’t find anywhere else, 9 times out of 10 they’re not going to be flying in to see you.

So again I ask, what are you going to do with that leverage?

For starters, you could become an Amazon affiliate and once you show yourself the expert you are via the value you provide online; recommend various products, hair tools, or books and link to the corresponding item on Amazon.  When they click the link and make a purchase, you get paid a commission!

That’s just one way to go about it.

So, those are just some of the things I’d do if I were still doing hair and wanted to attract more hair clients.

I teach a bit more, in a bit more detail, in my free training that you can access when you…

Why You Should Want To Have Repeat Customers

It’s amazing how we take things and people for granted.

I’m learning a LOT in my journey as an Entrepreneur and one thing I’ve recently learned is the importance & value of Repeat Customers.

Walk into any establishment and I guarantee that, while some of the people may be first-time patrons, the MAJORITY of them are repeat customers… people who have been there before and, for one reason or another, decided to return.

And that’s what YOU want in your business as well. [Read more…] about Why And How To Get Repeat Customers
