Reason One Why It’s A Good Idea That Network Marketers Focus On Getting Customers
It protects the integrity of your company
There’s a cliche saying that, “S**t happens”.
When I think of reason #1, one word comes immediately to mind…
In case you didn’t know, there was a Network Marketing company called Vemma. It was a health and wellness company. Vemma no longer exists because the FTC shut them down.
Well, you can read about that here. But the basic gist was that the company and the reps were SO heavily-focused on recruiting as opposed to actually selling their products, they were reported and later accused of being a ponzi scheme; ultimately losing their battle and being made to cease doing any further business.
It was a very unfortunate incident that could have been prevented.
This is not the first company that this has happened to, nor will it be the last.
But because of things like this, it is a good… no… GREAT idea to focus on getting your company’s product(s) or service(s) into the hands of consumers, rather than always being about, “Hey, wanna join my deal and make some money?”
It’s just safer for your company and all involved when you treat your business like a real business – which focuses on the sale of goods & services!
This is NOT to say it’s bad or wrong to recruit business builders… but just make retailing the product your primary focus.
Protect your company’s integrity, as well as the integrity of the Network Marketing profession as a whole, by retailing more than recruiting!
